So i just laminate the entire sheet then cut out my pieces.

If you only wqnt to laminate small things go to a craft hobby shop and ask for the xyron x150 and a repositionable adhesive refill.

However if it makes sense and you can fit more pieces on your lamination by cutting first by all means go for it.
